Chocolate Crinkle Cookies- oh my!

If you read my last post, you saw that I linked to several cookie recipes.
WELL, last weekend, I decided to make some. So I made the...
Chocolate Crinkle Cookies!
How were they?
They were good.

That's a lie. They weren't just good, they were REALLY, REALLY good.  If you're looking for something chocolatey, chewy, soft AND fudgy, you've found your recipe!
I got it from Warm Vanilla Sugar.

I KNOW I should have posted this earlier, I'm sorry... But this week was crazy!
You can forgive me though, because the MINUTE Christmas break started, when I got home from school this afternoon, I sat down to write this post. I'm not kidding. That's how much I love you.

YEAH!!! I'M ON VACATION!!!
My plans are to relaaaaax, bake (more) cookies and hang around with friends. Ahhhhh.

CHOCOLATE CRINKLE COOKIES

Ingredients:

1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 cups white sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar

Directions

In a medium bowl, mix together cocoa, white sugar, and vegetable oil. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt; stir into the cocoa mixture. Cover dough, and chill for at least 4 hours.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
Roll dough into one inch balls with lightly oiled palms (you can use a cookie scoop to portion the dough, a tablespoon or a rounded teaspoon depending on what size you like).
Coat each ball in confectioners’ sugar before placing onto prepared cookie sheets.
Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
Let stand on the cookie sheet for a minute before transferring to wire racks to cool.

  1. That is so funny--we just made these too! We made the batter last night and then had to wait till this morning to bake them--hadn't noticed the part about chilling for at least 4 hours until the batter was already made! They are delicious. We used the same recipe. xoxo

  6. Your blog is litterally f*cking killing me. I just came back from visiting my family in Spain, and if you ever go there (especially in the South) you'll see how f*cking much they eat. Of course, I'm a really big eater even though I never gain weight.

However, I stepped on the balance when I arrived: 62 kilos. Did the same thing before coming back: 65 kilos. I gained 3 kilos (needless to say - you're pretty smart).

Now I have to exercise and loose weight, but your blog is full of cookies, even your profil pic is the god damn COOKIE MONSTER!

    Keep doing what you're doing.

    1. Oh, I know how it is when you visit family and you're just eating NON-STOP.
But hey, you were on vacation.
As long as you're healthy and you have a healthy lifestyle, where you exercise, (mostly) eat healthy and stress less, you're good to go.
But you do need cookies once in a while ;)

Glad these cookies are tempting to you. ;)
